Welcome!
All are invited to journey to the eastern slopes of the majestic
mountains to partake of the glory and goodness of our fair Kingdom! We gather
to witness a tournament, the victors to take the Thrones of An Tir. Come,
celebrate the new year and our new Crown Prince and Princess.
The site is a large grassy sports facility and city park combined.
There are very few trees to offer protection from the elements. Be prepared
for high elevation weather – which could be warm sunshine or late spring
rain during the day and undoubtedly chilly nights. The Crooked River runs
along one edge and a major road runs along the other, so keep a watchful eye.
Above ground fires/flames are allowed. Pets must be leashed and cleaned up
after. The site is discreetly wet. Potable water from municipal system is
available. Information for alternate “overnighting” facilities
is available on the website.

Eric Space
When requesting eric reservation, please include your SCA, branch and modern
name for the contact person. Also please include the dimensions of your pavilion
including any guy ropes. Eric space reservations are made for Royal Peers,
Kingdom Officers/Guilds, and Branches. Last day to reserve eric space: May
2, 2005
Site information:
Location:Crooked River Parkin Prineville, Oregon
Directions: Take the most direct route to Highway 97 in
Central Oregon. From Madras, take Highway 26 east to Prineville. From Redmond,
take Highway 126 east to Prineville – WARNING: Currently there is a
road construction detour (watch for small signs) in the town of Redmond, and
access to Highway 126 to Prineville has been shifted north several blocks
to Antler Street.
These two highways merge in Prineville and become 3rd Street.
Take 3rd Street to Main Street (2 stoplights) and turn right (road signage “to
Fairgrounds”). Go approximately ½ mile south on Main Street to
Crooked River Park. The Park is on the right hand side of the road.

per Fire Marshall/Park Manager).

[RVs will be limited to the large grassy parking area across the street from
the event park as parking along the road through the park is limited to head-in
standard-size vehicle parking.]
